We actually went to the Hoover Dam on the way to California, but for Social Studies this year we are doing Geography and visiting one of the western 11 states each month so Nevada is for December even though we went there in November.
Kent says about the Hoover Dam: "It was an engineering marvel."
We stayed at a super cool hotel in Vegas.
We thought this was an acclaimed UFO because it was across the street from a whole bunch of alien shops, but no. It was a retired piece of equipment from the dam.
On the tour we went far under the ground and through tunnels to get to see everything.
Natalie was terrified of going by the edge up on the dam so she took the picture of all the rest of us.
