4th of July Photo Dump

My Top Five Best Moments from the 4th of July Weekend
1. Ice Cream Party with the Cravens and Melissa and Karl
We were so surprised and excited to hear that the Cravens were coming up for the holiday! This is the only picture I took because I was too busy having fun to think of it! We got to see Melissa and Karl's adorable engagement photos and just had a great time in general.

2. Hike with family to Bridal Veil Falls
I am coming to feel that there is nothing better than a day spent in the sunshine and fresh air with family! The "hike" was picturesque but the conversations and company were more memorable!

3. Picnic Lunch and Games at the Park
We were especially missing Derek and Raycelan so we went to the place they had their reception. =o] Melissa had my camera for the relay Rebecca set up and so there are literally 50 pictures from it! Good times!

4. Getting to Try the Trumpet
We had studied about Louis Armstrong for Music Monday that week but Kent had been gone on a business trip and we just never got to do our project which was trying out his trumpet! We did that afternoon and it was SO FUN!!!

4.5 Kent made an America slideshow with all these amazing pictures and awesome music. The kids loved it and Natalie remembered it from last year. =o]

5. The Fireworks!!!!
Talk about the hugest difference of living in UT vs. CA! I have never seen anything like it in my life actually. Kent was absolutely in heaven and he and Natalie and Caleb went to like 4 different firework tents to get the best stuff. I'm sensing a tradition coming on that is not driven by me for once! =o]

(Natalie sang the national anthem during the flag ceremony she and Caleb put on while we were waiting for it to be dark enough. It was PRICELESS!)

Happy Independence Day!
