November

we woke up november 1st to this beautiful rainbow! a great way to start the month if you ask me =o]

we decided on the location for our 10 year anniversary trip- hawaii! we are beyond excited to go, and are so grateful grammy and grandpa jamie are willing to watch the kids!

we had two major haircuts this month. natalie has been asking for a while to cut hair, so i did. at first she hated it and cried that it was so short she looked like a boy, but after i pointed out that her hair was about the same length as the american girl samantha she decided it wasn't so bad after all.

she got plenty of compliments at church so that helped too =o]

the second was seth's for sort of the first time. the first REAL haircut. his curls are so cute but people were starting to think he was a girl, and kent said it looked like a clown wig so it was time.

he was good and still once i gave him a lollipop =o]

don't worry- still plenty of curls back there =o]

we had our friends the whitakers over so she could redo our group shots because i wasn't thrilled with the ones up at the apple orchard. here are the best from the two shoots =o]

hooray!

these two are best buds! caleb helps SO MUCH with keeping jenna out of trouble! he is such a good big brother =o]

seth is always busy with his baby chores =o]

we went to the park with friends every week this month and it was BEAUTIFUL! these are some of jenna's besties from nursery =o] (she has on a real skirt underneath the costume =o])

our other homeschool friends only come about half the time though, so sometimes natalie has to fly solo =o/

yep. that's our jenna!

here we are doing our service club. we went to visit an elderly sister in our ward. we cleaned her porch, pulled weeds, washed her windows, sang her some songs and brought her some sunflowers. it was so fun!

we had a CRAZY loud thunderstorm that dropped so much hail it stayed until morning. the kids thought it snowed lol

here is our adventurous caleb bound and determined to learn to climb trees!

and of course.... we went to disneyland!

my RS lesson this month was called "Love and Concern for All God's Children" from the Joseph Fielding Smith manual (i was asked to switch with someone) and it was such a great discussion! i love the prophet manuals and i can't wait until next year to study Ezra Taft Benson! our book for book club this month was "Unbroken" about a man who was a POW in Japan during WWII. it was an amazing story. i came away from it feeling like Heavenly Father truly does have a plan for us, and if we hand our lives over to Him we will be great!
