June (flew by!)

now that school is out (natalie passed with flying colors by the way =o])...

we have had much more time to play!

and bake and eat yummy things! 

and watch the world cup!

and take swim lessons!

and go on field trips with friends!

like to the nature center,

the brea tar pits, 

or even just the library and the park. 

kent got to take natalie and caleb to a baseball game- mormon night at dodger stadium!

we made harry potter puppets and have done a number of plays!

we have been having a blast learning about a different musical each monday!

we watch the movies if possible, read the books, and study the topics presented in the script. and of course listen to the music as we color =o]

annie and oliver (we are blessed to be part of a family!)

les miserables (we are blessed to live in this time of plenty and peace!)

(in caleb's version of the play, gavroche shows up as captain america and isn't killed after all ;o] )

into the woods (things aren't always what they seem; nice is different than good!)

saturday's warrior (the Lord is hastening His work- there is so much we can do to help!)

(a lot of the time the plot turns to silliness within minutes, but hey, it is fun anyway!)

kent was gone for a week on a business trip to chicago this month, so that was a cool experience.

 i have been spending all my discretionary time making books on shutterfly, which i think is super cool and hopefully others in my family will too ha ha! 

natalie is loving reading and playing with friends 

caleb is growing like a weed and still loves baking and art projects (i don't take pictures of him fighting bad guys and destroying things lol)

jenna. ah jenna. yep. she is herself! cute and rambunctious as ever!

seth's little personality is really shining through as he becomes more vocal, interactive, and mobile!

we are LOVING summer!!!!
