April

this month has been a busy one for sure! aside from three road trips, general conference, and easter, this is what we have been up to:

playing outside (sometimes with friends)

doing art independently (not for school lol)

(okay so this was for school)

(this is part of a music video they are making and want to post on youtube lol)

(this is a puzzle... not really art, but done independently!)

(i LOVE this face. he is trying to tape the guys to the pencils lol)

going to disneyland

(the line is 2 1/2 hours long to see anna and elsa. NOPE. so we say hi to olaf as we pass by =o])

we are loving the shows- this is tangled in "the royal theatre"

we love the tiki room and the show outside beforehand too telling about Polynesian gods and goddesses  

i LOVE this face lol

shopping at costco. asian people take pictures of us. and i have yet to be here without someone saying "wow you sure have your hands full" or the like. isn't this costco, people? like, the place to buy bulk food because you have a lot of people to feed? seriously. natalie has become so used to my reply of "yes, and my heart is full too!" that she said it for me one of the times this past trip =o]

thinking about hair (not pictured is kent's hair, in which he has found several greys and since started taking vitamins lol) my hair is falling out by the handful since my postpartum alopecia is in full swing. these two beauties came out in the same handful- one coarse and black, the other fine and golden blonde (though it looks dark in the picture). yep. i have crazy hair.  

natalie wants to do her hair like hermione

caleb does his hair everyday. he actually even asked me to cut it because it was 'touching his ears and just getting too long in the back'. alrighty then!

once i even caught him using my blowdryer lol

jenna's hair is oh so adorable. 

and seth's hair is really growing out! how do i cut this kid's hair? he is so squirmy!! i would impale him for sure =o[

natalie worked super hard this month and earned enough mackay bucks to buy...

hogwarts robes! these pictures are just a glimpse of the joy she experienced and doesn't really do it justice. she is definitely learning that hard work pays off, and that good things are worth the wait! (too bad it will be too hot to wear them much now that she finally got them =/) 

caleb, being the mischievous boy that he is, continues to steal my phone and take COUNTLESS selfies 

as well as random other things like this pile of clean laundry waiting to be folded on a wash day =o] that kid. 

then there is little miss jenna. this frozen-loving snack monster keeps me on my toes- and running with her to the bathroom! lol seriously though she is rarely to be seen without a snack while singing frozen songs at the top of her lungs these days =o]

 

here she is "matching" her barbie by both of them having a pink ponytail holder. 

she and i went to the community helping hands project and had a grand ol time together "helping" and mostly brightening people's day =o]

and finally little seth. yes little. he still only weighs 16lbs though he continues to grow in height. i swear he eats three square meals a day, and nurses four times! ah well, not much else i can do!! he is really starting to get around, has stopped being swaddled to sleep, and is finding his voice for sure! =o]

also, not pictured is a date kent and i went on doing two things i have never done before- play racketball, and eat at cheesecake factory. i LOVE dating my husband and look forward to continuing to do so in an uninterrupted fashion for the rest of our lives =o]
